1. How often should I clean my windows?
Do you know that bird droppings and tree sap have acid and if not removed often, your windows and doors can have permanent stains?
Cleaning your windows is actually another aspect of maintaining your beautiful home.
My Window Guy Cleaner recommends a minimum of 2X's a year.....Spring or Summer Time and late Fall or early Winter. Of course, many clients wash their windows more often, especially before major events like family gatherings, parties, weddings, graduations and the holidays. It's just a great feeling to look out your windows and enjoy the view. Clean windows just give you a "brighter outlook on life". 2. How often should I power wash my house? Do I really need to do this?
Every home owner should power wash their exterior house/retaining walls, hardscape areas to patio furniture at least 1X per year. Again, power washing your entire house is an essential part of also maintaining your home's paint, stucco or wood siding. By removing dirt, spider webs, bird droppings and tree sap, you can prolong the life of your home's exterior surfaces. Power washing exterior ledges and frames can prevent wood or stucco rot caused by dirt accumulation and even mold.
3. Does power washing cause etch marks on my stucco or any exterior surface?
No.........My Window Guy Cleaner uses commercial grade power washing equipment to avoid carving our initials on your stucco or any exterior surface. We reduce the power washer pressure (PSI) to a safe level that will not etch or destroy your beautiful house walls or any exterior. 4. How do you actually clean my house windows?
My Window Guy Cleaner uses professional cleaning wands and squeegees to wash your interior windows. We have long extension poles and special ladders to reach the highest windows. All ladders have protectors to prevent marking up walls.
On the exterior, we use special scrubber pad wands with long extension poles and ladders. We focus on removing all dirt, paint, bird droppings and tree sap off your windows and doors. My Window Guy uses a Special Water Filtration system to thoroughly rinse your windows and doors which completely removes all dirt and soap residue. Morning dew or rain will seldom affect or re-dirty your windows as there is no soap residue left behind. This is not true for the squeegee system as it does leave soap residue on your windows.
5. I have Spanish Tile roofs and my last window cleaner broke many of them. He told me that he never walks on my roof. Does My Window Guy get on roofs to clean my windows?
No......we do not walk on your Spanish Tile roofs or even slate ones because they break no matter how careful you are. Some houses have extensive roof lines and hard to reach windows. In order to squeegee a window, a professional must have the correct angle and close up distance to a window. This is why many window cleaners must walk your roof to clean and squeegee your hard to reach windows.

6. How long will my windows stay clean after My Window Guy cleans them?
Keeping your windows cleaner for a longer period of time simply saves you both money and time.
Our Special Water Filtration System lasts approximately 5-6 months in between cleanings. This is not true with the squeegee system. Before using our service, customers told us that their squeegeed windows stayed clean for only 2-3 months. When it rained, the windows were dirty the next day. 7. What exactly is a Special Water Filtration System?
It is not soft water or purified water that you can drink. Our Special Water Filtration System is deionized water that has no minerals, salt or particulates. Car Washes use deionized water, but use a much lower quality which has some residue of minerals. My Window Guy Cleaner uses the highest quality........Laboratory Quality Deionized Water which we installed into our Special Water Filtration System with power washing. Dirt and soap residue are completely rinsed away leaving your windows crystal clear and frames/ledges super clean.
8. A Special Water Filtration System sounds great, but is it expensive to use?
No.........our Special Water Filtration System is not expensive as we negotiate good deals from our supplier. Of course there is some cost, but in the long run, our customers save both time and money by not having to wash their windows as often. My Window Guy Cleaner has mastered the skill in using deionized water to wash and rinse windows......they stay cleaner much longer than the squeegee system. Our customers are just so elated and satisfied that their windows stay clean for approximately 5-6 months, even during the rainy season. Our customers have told us that their windows stayed clean only for 2-3 months with our competitors who used the squeegee system. 9. Does My Window Guy Cleaner power wash roofs?
Yes.......we power wash all types of roofs from Spanish Tile to slate and composite. This is very labor intensive and to ensure 100% Customer Satisfaction, we do a small FREE test sample on your roof. If My Window Guy Cleaning can not remove your mold, mildew or debris, we will not do the job or waste your money.
